On Feb. 24, Dr. Jean-Eric Ghia filmed segments for an upcoming episode of a new CBC/Radio-Canada program called Metascience at the College of Rehabilitation Sciences. For the episode, he interviewed Dr. Tony Szturm, Dr. Ed Giesbrecht and Dr. Jacquie Ripat about their research projects that use various computer and video game technology for rehabilitation purposes.

Ghia and his crew also visited the Dr. George Yee Laboratory of Anatomical Sciences for another episode. In total they are filming between six and eight episodes, four/six of which are focused on research at the University of Manitoba. The series will air later this year.

Ghia is an associate professor in the departments of immunology and internal medicine at the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, the current honorary Consul of France in Manitoba and as well as a scientific analyst with CBC/Radio-Canada Manitoba.
