AWARDS EVENING

The hard work and dedication of students, faculty and staff took centre stage at the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry and School of Dental Hygiene Awards Evening on Nov. 20. More than 60 student awards and 10 faculty and staff awards were presented at the Awards Evening ceremony in the Brodie Centre atrium. Read more and view the list of all recipients.

RESIDENTS and FELLOWS

Dr. Vivianne Cruz de Jesus received the 2024 Dean of the Rady of Faculty of Health Sciences Post-Doctoral Fellowship.

Dr. Ana Schettini received funding from the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontic Tylman Fund to complete her master’s research. Part of the grant requires the recipient to submit a research paper for publication and is part of a competition at the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. She was awarded third place in the 2024 Tylman Award Program for the report entitled Assessment of mechanical propertiesand microstructure of Co-Cr dental alloys manufactured by casting, milling, and 3D printing. She will present her results as a poster presentation at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics in Chicago in February 2025.
