{"id":1551,"date":"2023-06-14T15:51:56","date_gmt":"2023-06-14T20:51:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.radyfhs.umanitoba.ca\/medicine\/?p=1551"},"modified":"2023-06-20T09:55:11","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T14:55:11","slug":"call-for-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.radyfhs.umanitoba.ca\/medicine\/call-for-recruitment\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Pharmacogenetics-Supported Prescribing for Kids (PGx-SParK) research team is currently recruiting children, adolescents and young adults between six and 24 years old for a pharmacogenetic study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pharmacogenetic testing has the potential to improve drug treatment outcomes and limit the trial-and-error process by assisting doctors with medication selection and dosing. Children, adolescents and young adults planning to start or change a medication for mental health may be eligible to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants must reside in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba or British Columbia.
