Please welcome Dr. Shawn Thomas to the role of regional medical specialty lead, primary health care, home care and community integration, effective January 13, 2021.<\/p>\n
Dr. Thomas has experience in a variety of clinical settings including fee-for-service primary care, inpatient care at Concordia Hospital, Long Term Care, and Access River East.<\/p>\n
His leadership roles include co-chair of the River East\/Transcona My Health Team and medical director of Concordia Health Associates.<\/p>\n
Dr. Thomas is committed to improving the efficiency and quality of patient care as well as enhancing the integration of services across the community sector and will be a welcome addition in this new role.<\/p>\n
