Our largest group ever, 186 graduates, marked the success of our expanded bachelor of nursing (BN) program and the launch of our bachelor of midwifery program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We proudly recognized three inaugural midwifery graduates, 172 BN graduates, nine master\u2019s graduates and two PhD graduates. We were thrilled to host a joint pinning ceremony for our nursing and midwifery graduates, presenting each of them with a commemorative pin to mark their entrance into their profession. Reflecting on their journey, it\u2019s inspiring to imagine the positive impact these graduates will have on health care quality, workplace culture and the critical workforce needs in Winnipeg, and in rural, northern and Indigenous communities. With a diverse cohort, including Indigenous graduates, we are committed to creating a representative nursing workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nurse practitioners are essential in improving access to health services. To meet the growing demand for nurse practitioners, we are expanding our nurse practitioner program from 25 seats to 35 seats this Fall.
