Armah, N.<\/u><\/strong>, PhD candidate (Faculty co-advisors: Dr. Marnie Kramer & Dr. Christina West<\/strong>), received the Edith Anderson Leadership Education Grant, Sigma Foundation for Nursing Leadership Education, Sigma Theta Tau International for $1,000 USD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bochen, K.<\/u><\/strong> (Advisor: Dr. Marnie Kramer<\/strong>; Internal committee member: Dr. Genevieve Thompson<\/strong>; External committee member: Dr. Christopher Fries; External committee member: Dr. Davinder Jassal) successfully completed their Master of Nursing Oral Thesis Defense, Beyond the diagnosis: Women\u2019s experiences of cardiotoxicity secondary to cancer treatment<\/em>, December 17, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bourque, M.<\/u><\/strong>, PhD student (Faculty advisor: Dr. Mandy Archibald<\/strong>) was selected as a top 6 abstract submission for Bridging research and practice through living labs in child health: A systematic review <\/em>and received an honourable mention award for their presentation in Dr. Goodbear\u2019s Den during the 21st annual Child Health Research Days, October 21-23, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fadare, O.<\/u><\/strong> (Primary Advisor: Dr. Nicole Harder<\/strong>; Secondary Advisor: Kim Sefton<\/strong>), successfully defended their Master of Nursing Capstone Oral Presentation, An environmental scan of current practices for preparation and support of nurse preceptors for nursing students in final practicums<\/em>, February 10, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gelfman, Y<\/u><\/strong>., PhD student (Faculty Advisor: Dr. Genevieve Thompson<\/strong>), received a PhD in Nursing Fellowship, College of Nursing, University of Manitoba for $1,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gelfman, Y<\/u><\/strong>., PhD student (Faculty Advisor: Dr. Genevieve Thompson<\/strong>), received the Greene Memorial Fellowship for $9,580.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gelfman, Y<\/u><\/strong>., PhD student (Faculty advisor: Dr. Genevieve Thompson<\/strong>), received the Foundation for Registered Nurses of Manitoba Inc. Graduate Award for $2,250.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jones, J<\/u><\/strong>., MN student (Faculty advisor: Dr. Lynda Balneaves<\/strong>), received the Foundation for Registered Nurses of Manitoba Inc. Graduate Award for $2,250.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pham, S.<\/u><\/strong>, NP student (Faculty advisor: Dr. Geneveive Thompson<\/strong>), received the NPAM Student Scholarship for $250.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
