There was a glaring sense of unity of\nvoice, which accentuated the power that nurses have in being agents and\ncatalysts for change.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other students who attended were  David Gawryluk,  Sochimaobi Nweze,  Sheryl Demetrioff, Ruby Rexer, Grachel D\u2019uncha, Britany Marion and Tori Choboter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gawryluk presented a summer research project he had worked\non with Dr. Darlene Pierce and Dr. Donna Martin on curriculum frameworks\nguiding nurse practitioner education programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The students noted another highlight was meeting Jim Ryan\n(pictured with the students above), who gave an inspirational presentation on how\nhis life has changed since becoming a quadriplegic in 2016. &nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eight students from the Bachelor of Nursing program attended the 2019 Western Prairie Regional Conference of the Canadian Nursing Students\u2019 Association, hosted by the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbottsford, B.C. on Oct. 31 \u2013 Nov. 3.
