The College of Pharmacy was pleased to celebrate our students’ achievements at the Welcome to the Profession Ceremony for the graduating class of 2021 on June 15, 2021.
Megha Kaushal was chosen by her peers as the valedictorian. Dean Lalitha Raman-Wilms presented the Class of 2021, Dean’s Honor List and student awards. The event was held virtually and included a message from the Class of 1966 alumna Vivian Quiring and class-selected faculty speaker Dr. Jamie Falk. Wendy Clark, president of CPhM, provided a Welcome to the Profession address. Kelly Drummond, program coordinator for experiential education, announced the preceptors of the year. Graduating senior stick Snimar Bali addressed her colleagues as they all embark on their careers as pharmacists.
The Oath of the Pharmacist for the graduating class was led by Dr. Lavern Vercaigne. The UM Convocation for the College of Pharmacy’s graduating class was held virtually following the College of Pharmacy Welcome to the Profession Ceremony.
