UM Café: Ten Thousand Coffees – Connecting students with mentors

The College of Pharmacy is pleased to be a part of this online mentoring platform, which is open to all University of Manitoba alumni and students, and matches learners and professionals based on interests, skills and career goals. They can then share a virtual cup of coffee and exchange knowledge and advice.

Ron Eros, director of experiential education at the College of Pharmacy, says he has really enjoyed being a part of Ten Thousand Coffees.

“I am usually paired with pharmacy or science students with a wide variety of interests for the onetime meeting,” Eros said. “It has been positive for me to share my background and experience with those looking for direction or understanding future opportunities within pharmacy.”
