Changes in Librarian Support for the College of Medicine

We are excited to announce some changes in the librarian support for the Max Rady College of Medicine. Carol Cooke, who previously served as the Max Rady College of Medicine librarian, has accepted a new role as the acting head of the Health Sciences and Science Division at the University of Manitoba Libraries. In her new position, Cooke oversees the librarians supporting the Neil John Maclean Health Sciences Library and the Jim Peebles Science and Technology Library.

To ensure seamless support for the Max Rady College of Medicine, librarian responsibilities have been adjusted:

  • Margaret Banka will be your go-to for student support and teaching in undergraduate medical education (UGME).
  • Janice Linton will focus on providing support to postgraduate medical education (PGME) learners and graduate students.
  • Me-Linh Le will continue to support the department of pharmacology and therapeutics, in line with her work with the College of Pharmacy.

To schedule an appointment with any of these librarians, please use the Libraries’ appointment booking system.
