The Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba presented its Awards of Excellence at their Celebration of Excellence on May 12. Congratulations to the following recipients:

  • Dr. Donna Martin, professor and associate dean, graduate programs, received the Award of Excellence: Nursing Administration
  • Kim Workum, senior instructor and director, CCA Centre, received the Award of Excellence: Nursing Administration
  • Christa DeGagne, instructor II, received the Award of Excellence: Nursing Education
  • Sufia Turner, instructor II, received the Award of Excellence: Nursing Education
  • Dr. Genevieve Thompson, professor, received the Award of Excellence: Nursing Research
  • Dr. Michelle Lobchuk, associate professor, received the Award of Excellence: Nursing Research
  • Dr. Benita Cohen, associate professor, received the Award of Excellence: Advocacy Award posthumously
  • Andrea Toews, MN student, received the Award of Excellence: Clinical Nursing Practice –  Acute Care

Awards were also given to the following groups:

  • The Clinical and Academic Network received the Award of Excellence: Outstanding Interprofessional Team
The College of Nursing Skills Team
  • The College of Nursing Skills Team received the Award of Excellence: Outstanding Interprofessional Team
  • The Office of Interprofessional Collaboration received the Award of Excellence: Outstanding Interprofessional Team
