  • Raymond Chhun, PhD student, was the recipient of RFHS Graduate Stipend Top-Up Support for $12,000. (Faculty advisor: Dr. Marnie Kramer)
  • Jess Crawford, MN student, was the recipient of the Dean of RFHS Graduate Student Achievement Prize. (Faculty advisor: Dr. Annette Schultz).
  • Yael Gelfman, MN student, was the recipient of the General Award from the University of Manitoba for $4,500. (Faculty advisor: Dr. Lynn Scruby).
  • Karen Livingston, MN student, was the recipient of the University of Manitoba Graduate Student Award (UMGSA) 2023-2024, Kathryn Huget Leadership Award (Calgary Foundation Student Award), Canadian Nurses Foundation Student Scholarship and Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) Centennial Legacy Award.   • Michaela Bourque, PhD student (faculty advisor: Dr. Mandy Archibald) was recipient of the Canadian Cancer Society Doctoral Training Award (valued at $210,000 over four years).
  • Adam Brandt, MN student, was recipient of the RFHS Dean’s Graduate Student Achievement Prize. (Faculty advisor: Dr. Lynn Scruby.)
  • Adam Brandt, MN student, was recipient of the University of Manitoba Emerging Leader Award.
  • Jennifer Dunsford, director of clinical education and doctoral student, was recipient of the SSHRC Doctoral Award of $40,000.
  • Yael Gelfman, MN student (faculty advisor: Dr. Lynn Scruby) was recipient of the Greene Memorial Fellowship for $15,000.
  • Jennie MacMillan Gomez, MN student (faculty advisor: Dr. Christina West) was recipient of the Greene Memorial Fellowship for $15,000.
  • Stephanie Van Haute, PhD student, was recipient of the Pamela Hardisty Graduate Fellowship for $21,425.

Recognition
  • Abbie Kawadza, MN student, was selected for the University of Manitoba’s President’s Student Leadership Program.
  • Dr. Preetha Krishnan was recognized on her convocation from our PhD in Nursing program, and on being the recipient of the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) Medal of Excellence.
