Pharmacists Colin Reeve, Taisa Pankewycz and Salil Prashar volunteered their time in the fall term to facilitate the Clinical Therapeutics 2 course at the College of Pharmacy.
Their teaching strategy of facilitating a small group discussion with students during the case-based seminar is a new aspect of the program developed for PharmD.
The pharmacists, who are certified diabetes educators, lead case discussions that the students had prepared in advance providing for dynamic group discussions.
