PhD student Laila Aboulatta and Dr. Sherif Eltonsy, assistant professor of pharmacy at the College of Pharmacy. Aboulatta received the Wilson Presentation Award and a travel award.

There was a strong presence from the College of Pharmacy and the Eltonsy Lab at the 62nd Birth Defect and Prevention International Conference of the Teratology Society that was held in Vancouver at the end of June.

PhD students Alekhya Lavu, Laila Aboulatta and Lara Haidar; undergrads Brianne Desrochers and Eunice Valencia; and postdoc fellow Dr. Payam Peymani attended the conference.

Aboulatta received the Wilson Presentation Award. Lavu, Aboulatta, Peymani and Desrochers received travel awards.
