Canadian Association of Pharmacy Students and Interns updates

As always, the winter and spring semesters were busy, filled with lunch and learns, mock OSCEs and Pharmacy Appreciation Month (PAM).

In February, the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Students and Interns (CAPSI) was pleased to have hosted an industry residency talk.

PAM, organized by Simran Diocee and his team, was a success. It began by celebrating pharmacy teams and preceptors for their tremendous efforts during the pandemic. PAM events drew in speakers and attendees from around the world.

From an advocacy workshop hosted by Pharmacists Manitoba to an interdisciplinary panel on multiple sclerosis to a talk on 2SLGBTTQ+ health, PAM 2021 showcased the breadth of pharmacy and how students can embrace change in their future practice.

As the month closed, the Apothecary returned for Volume II, bringing another compilation of leadership stories and wellness strategies, as well as recipes from students and faculty.
