Congratulations to third-year PharmD student and president of the University of Manitoba Pharmacy Student’s Association (UMPhSA) council, Marianna Pozdirca, for receiving the Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) Centennial Leadership Award.
The award recognizes one student from each of the 10 pharmacy schools in Canada for their contributions to the community, promoting the profession and achieving good academic standing. Pozdirca believes pharmacists play a vital role in both advising each patient’s unique health journey and advocating for wide, equitable access to medications and pharmacy care.
