On January 21, 2021, the College of Pharmacy held its formal White Coat Ceremony to welcome first-year students to the pharmacy program.
The virtual event was attended by the Class of 2024 along with guests from the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM), including registrar Susan Lessard-Friesen.
Each student was recognized by the donning of their white coat and by taking the Oath of Professionalism. Student entrance awards were also presented. In addition to an inspiring message from Ronald Guse, recipient of the 2020 Alumni of Distinction Award, students also heard from Dean Raman-Wilms, CPhM president Wendy Clark and College of Pharmacy junior stick Snimar Bali.
