I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ron Eros as the Director of Experiential Education at the College of Pharmacy, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba. Ron joined the College effective April 30, 2019.
Ron brings 30 years of pharmacy practice experience to his new role. In addition to his significant contributions in hospital pharmacy, he has also worked in community pharmacy practice and held leadership positions within the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM) and the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC). In his current role as the Regional Pharmacy Director with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA), Ron has developed, led, managed and assessed all aspects of the WRHA Pharmacy Services. Ron has worked collaboratively with senior pharmacy leadership within all the health regions, as well as with Shared Health, Cancer Care Manitoba, and Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living. Ron is strongly committed to healthcare and the profession of pharmacy, working to ensure a better health for all Manitobans.
I am excited that Ron will be bringing his extensive experience in providing oversight and leadership to the Office of Experiential Education, ensuring its continued growth as we expand Experiential Education with the new Doctor of Pharmacy program.
