Each year, the University of Manitoba Pharmacy Students’ Association (UMPhSA) hosts a sporting event to raise money for a charity. This year, several of the students organized Dodge for a Cause, a dodgeball tournament organized in an effort to raise money for the Breakfast Club of Canada, an organization helping children reach their full potential by providing healthy and nourishing breakfasts in schools across Canada.
This year, despite a smaller turnout due to COVID-19 restrictions, they raised $210 for this cause and the dodgeball tournament was a great success. The students look forward to next year and putting on this event once again.
